Happy Turkey Day

I love Thanksgiving!

I love getting together with all our family, eating a big feast, playing games outside, watching football and thumbing through the newspaper mapping out our Black Friday itinerary for the next morning while sipping on some wassail!

This years Turkey Day menu includes: turkey, ham, roasted potatoes, broccoli casserole, sweet potato casserole, corn bake casserole, dirty rice, brussel sprouts, cherry salad, watergate salad, candied apples, greens, lima beans, macaroni and cheese, corn, chicken 'n dumplings, rolls, green bean casserole, cranberries and deviled eggs.

Desserts include pecan pie, pumpkin pie, red velvet cake cheesecake, brownies, cookies and peppermint bark.

If you leave here hungry, it is no ones fault but your own. We always have plenty of leftovers and it has always been tradition to come back over to Shawn's moms to eat again Friday night after the girls have gotten back from Black Friday. And it is just as good the next day as it is on Turkey Day.
